Chapter 13
Lost in a thought, but tonight its calling
Your voice in my dreams, in these I’m falling
Memories laid spread on my bed
And the fight for you goes on in my head
It bleeds, it sings
My fears, a longing
What tempered heart could know a love so vile?
Yet tonight, tonight it’s us, just for awhile
A book half-written, its author dead
Along with a heart, when you walked out that gate
They rend and stab, at his soulless form
What price to pay, for a life now gone?
Once a love but now a dream
Buried in the pages of chapter 13
Lost in a thought, but tonight its calling
Your voice in my dreams, in these I’m falling
Memories laid spread on my bed
And the fight for you goes on in my head
It bleeds, it sings
My fears, a longing
What tempered heart could know a love so vile?
Yet tonight, tonight it’s us, just for awhile
A book half-written, its author dead
Along with a heart, when you walked out that gate
They rend and stab, at his soulless form
What price to pay, for a life now gone?
Once a love but now a dream
Buried in the pages of chapter 13
