Circus Life

Are we caged? Trapped behind bars that we or society has set in place. I'm pretty sure that animals in captivity live different lives from their free and wild counterparts. Imprisonment seems to suck the life outta not just them but us humans too it seems. :/

I think I've watched that anime too many times or something but it made me wonder if we all have a predestined fate, and if not, is the price we would pay worth it to change our lives?

When do we decide to let the bird out of the cage? Are we even the ones to make the choice? Or do others do so for us...?

Hmm...

OK sleep calls.

I believe very much that people make the choices for us. even if we do have the strength to change anything, we change things only because we're influence by others.

Wilde once said that "All sins, if sins exists, are not yours but borrowed" (paraphrased a little, can't remember the whole thing), I guess even if we do have our "own" mindset, it could have already been tainted by our surroundings.

We will, forever be in a cage.
Like how virginia woolf would put it, "The eyes of others our prisons; their thoughts our cages."
